BABY BLESSINGS

Our church offers parents the opportunity to dedicate their children’s lives to God. Close relatives and friends are welcome to come in support to witness the small ceremony. We believe that it takes a village to raise a child. To schedule your baby blessing date, you may contact or Head Clerk at 718-469-2050 and leave a message or join us on Saturday to our Clerk.

BAPTISMS

At the request of members and friends, our ministerial team baptizes those who are moved by the Holy Spirit. We encourage our members and visitors to join us for Bible Studies on Saturdays at 4PM. You may also contact us at firstelder@cfellowshipsda.org.

GED CLASSES

When teachers are available, classes are provided and students have the opportunity to obtain their GED. We are presently seeking teachers to assist in lessons then we will begin sessions.

INNER CITY SOUP KITCHEN

The Inner City Soup Kitchen is committed to serve and help meet the needs of the poor in our community with tender love, care, respect and compassion. At our Soup Kitchen, we provide hot nutritious meals every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:00PM to 6:00PM. Volunteers are welcome. Call 718-469-2052 for further information.

PANTRY

The Pantry is committed to serve and help meet the needs of the poor in our community with tender love, care, respect, and compassion.  We distribute from our Client-Choice Pantry Style setting, a variety of healthy foods every Wednesday, except 5th Wednesdays, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.  Volunteers are welcome.  Call 718-469-2050 for further information.

PASTORAL COUNSELING

Sessions with our pastor are by appointment only. Contact him by leaving a message on the office line at (718)469-2050 or 462-9867.

WEDDINGS

If you are planning a wedding and need a lovely place for the ceremony, our church may be available.  We also offer access to florist, decorators, musicians, singers, bakers and chefs. To inquire, contact the Program Coordinator at 631-435-8227 or 347-446-4716.

VENUE REGISTRATION

Our hall and sanctuary are available for various celebrations and events (weddings, birthdays, funerals, graduations, etcetera). Our lot at Empire Boulevard may also be available for use. To secure a date for your upcoming celebration, contact our Program Coordinators at 631-435-8227 or 347-446-4716.  PLEASE NOTE: Our venues may not be available on Sabbaths (Saturdays) due to our extensive worship services on that day.
